Chuck and Blair always get the best lines on the show, especially if they get lines together. Their scenes are just perfect and you can really see the emotions that Ed and Leighton pour into them. So, like I said in my previous post, my teacher talked about love in relation to making a research paper. He gave us an example of an email a father was sending to his son in reply to the email his son said to him (I kinda imagined the email to be between Bart and Chuck talking about how Chuck loved Blair). I didn’t get the whole email coz I just jotted down a few sentences and words. So I’ll do the best I can. So here goes:

Dear Son,

I might not be able to answer your questions about love. But I will try my best. Your mom will have an opinion on this, but that’s between the two of you. So, there’s always bad love and good love, there is always darkness and lightness.

There are several kinds of love. The first one - selfish, mean, grasping egotistical hang-up which uses love for self - importance. It is ugly and crippling and makes one sick, small and weak. The second one is an outpouring of everything good in you - of kindness, consideration, respect - not only the social respect of manners but the greater respect, which is recognition of another human being as incomparable and priceless. It releases in you strength and courage and goodness and even wisdom you did not know you had.

The purpose of love is the best and most beautiful. Strive to live up to it. If you love someone, there is no possible harm in saying so. Only, you must remember that some people are very shy and sometimes the saying must take that shyness and transform it into words. Girls have a way of knowing or feeling what you feel, but they normally like to hear it as well.

And son, remember this: it sometimes happens that what you feel for someone is not returned for one reason or another, but that doesn’t make your feelings any less valuable and good.

All in all, I know your feeling because I have it and I’m happy you have it too. And do not worry about losing; If it is right, it will happen. The main thing is not to hurry. Nothing good gets away.
